Life has its ups and downs and every one of us has to face it even celebrities. This year, seasoned actress Bea Alonzo has learned to let go and embrace life’s surprises. This was Bea’s latest life update in a vlog together with Dr. Aivee Teo.
“My god, this must be the hardest year of my life,” the 37-year-old actress-businesswoman revealed when asked about how her year has been. Bea confessed how much of a planner she is, a very goal-oriented person. During the vlog, she recalled how her 2024 did not go as how she initially planned it to be.
Amid everything, (we’re calling it!) Bea thrived this 2024—and she’s looking at achieving even more in 2025. She revealed that she wants to be more aggressive in reaching her 2025 goals. However, unlike in the past years, Bea is scrapping the usual New Year’s resolutions. Instead, she declared, “At least for 2025 ayoko nang gumawa ng resolutions. As soon as maybe today I wanna live by those resolutions already. It doesn’t matter if it’s the year or not but I have goals for 2025 that I wanna achieve. I wanna be aggressive in putting in the work in achieving those goals.”

Admittedly, Bea knows the advantages of sticking to a plan or following some direction in your life. Despite that, she highlighted that being open to one’s surprises is something everyone should do. “It’s nice to plan and set goals. You want to have a direction to follow…but then you should be open to surprises, be spontaneous, and live your life,” the actress said in the vlog.

Bea Alonzo’s 2024
It was quite a tumultuous year for Bea, given that she’s tagged it as the hardest year of her life plus the fact that a lot really happened for her—both the lovely and the heartbreaking ones. Looking back on the highlights of Bea’s 2024, surely, her love life is not one to miss. It was this year when her engagement with ex-boyfriend Dominic Roque was announced. Although there are rumors circulating about the real reason for the couple’s breakup, they chose to keep mum for the most part.
In February 2024, the former couple released a joint statement requesting privacy and expressing their dismay over some people who confirmed their breakup to the public before they were even ready to announce it.
Their statement read, “Please understand that this is an extremely painful yet united decision, and we sincerely request for everyone to kindly spare us from more cruel and very hurtful words thrown on social media. We kindly request to give us the privacy we need as we navigate our future lives with respect, kindness, compassion, and dignity.
As they say, life goes on—and the same goes for Bea. Just months after her controversial breakup, the actress began her latest teleserye with GMA Network called Widow’s War.
In the middle of filming for her show, Bea still had the time and the energy to launch her personal travel brand called Bash. Recently, Bea’s brand also released their luggage collection. Such a career woman!
