Philippine delegate Jasmin Bungay emerged as the second runner-up at the Miss Globe 2024 coronation night in Albania on early Wednesday (Manila time).

Columbia’s candidate Diana Moreno was named Miss Globe 2024.

The first runner up was Thailand’s beauty queen Prada Thansita Dilhokanansakul.

During the Q&A portion, Bungay was asked to give her thoughts on how to keep real connections and show empathy as technology changed quickly.

“I believe that with the advancement of technology and the abuse that is prevalent now in the technological world, I believe to be emphatic is to live in the moment, to make sure that every moment is treasured not on the screen but in real life ’cause only when we have real connections, only when we connect with each other, face-to-face, physically then we can feel each other and then we can experience to fullness of life,” she replied.

Days before the coronation night, Bungay unveiled her national costume, which was inspired by the sacrifices of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), particularly those based in the Middle East.
