During the 2024 Olympic Opening Ceremony in Paris on Friday, LeBron James starred in a video shared to TikTok from tennis star Coco Gauff.

The video shows James, along with other Olympic athletes, on the boat traveling through the Seine River.

“What up TikTok, we’re live here at the 2024 Paris Games here with Coco Gauff,” James said in the video.

Gauff also shared a video of her and James on her Instagram story, and the tennis star seemed to be starstruck.

James and Gauff were flag bearers for Team USA on Friday during the Opening Ceremony, and now they’ll look to lead the United States to gold in their respective events.

James is an Olympic veteran, with this year’s games being his fourth appearance. He made his debut in 2004 and helped lead Team USA to gold in 2008 and 2012, and while he didn’t participate in the 2016 or 2020 Olympics, he returned this year to join a star-studded roster.

James and the United States men’s national team begin action on Sunday when they face a Nikola Jokić-led Serbia team.

Gauff will be making her Olympic debut this year after the 20-year-old missed the 2020 Tokyo Games after testing positive for COVID-19 just days before her event began. Now, the tennis star will look to come out strong in her first of likely many appearances.

Gauff will begin competition on Saturday in women’s doubles, but she will also be competing in women’s singles over the weekend.
