Michael Jackson Biopic Controversy: Here's What To Know
Complicated relationships

Michael Jackson got married at the age of 36. His first wife was Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of the late American music legend Elvis Presley. The two met in 1975 at the engagement ceremony of a member of the Jackson family at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. However, this was not Michael’s “difficult” relationship, because 20 years before getting married, Michael had a very close relationship with singer Diana Ross, who always held an important position in his life. Many newspapers later said that there was a time when the young Michael moved in with his sister Diana in her own house. Michael once called this relationship “the deepest and darkest secret of his life”.
Michael was close friends with the silver screen star Elizabeth Taylor. She was the one who gave him the nickname King of Pop, which later became known to the world. Michael confessed that he was close to Elizabeth because they both had a difficult childhood. Michael’s friends also include singers Madonna, Cher, actors Macaulay Culkin, Brooke Shields…

Michael Jackson, Lisa Marie Presley: A Timeline of Their Marriage | Us Weekly

In the fall of 1993, one night, Michael picked up the phone and called Lisa Presley just to say: “If I want you to marry me, will you?” Lisa nodded. She understood better than anyone that Michael was going through a lot of trouble with accusations of child molestation. She was the lifebuoy that saved Michael during this period, because if he got married, all the rumors about him only liking to have sex with children would be meaningless!

Michael and Lisa had a quiet, secret wedding in the Dominican Republic. However, nearly 20 months later, the couple filed for divorce. The reason for their separation is still a big question! The press freely exploited his private life and declared: Michael got married to hide his sick homosexual relationship with boys.

After Michael’s sudden death, Lisa Presley herself spoke out. She wrote on her blog: “He asked me very carefully about my father’s death. Looking deeply into his eyes, my husband blurted out: he thought he would end up like his father. Of course, I quickly dismissed that idea from my mind. Once again, I repeat, our relationship was truly a love affair between two people in the same situation. Deciding to break up when I still loved him very much was the hardest thing I had to do in my life. I was haunted by the breakup with Michael for many years.”

In November 1996, during a tour, Michael suddenly announced his second marriage to an “unknown” nurse, Debbie Rowe, and gave birth to two children: a boy named Prince Michael 1 and a girl named Paris Michael. Before that, Rowe had taken care of Michael when he had albinism. The friendship gradually turned into love. Michael’s mother always urged her son to get married after Rowe became pregnant with Prince. 3 years later, the two divorced and shared custody of the child. As for the third child, Prince Michael 2 (Blanket), born in 2002, to this day no one knows who the mother is because Michael never said a word, only claiming that the baby was conceived in vitro!Who is Michael Jackson's ex-wife, Debbie Rowe? – The Sun | The Sun

June 25 was perhaps the darkest day of the three children’s lives as they sat at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles waiting for news of their father. The cold neon lights cast a long shadow of their manager, Frank DiLeo, on the floor. Prince (12), Paris (11) and Blanket (7) all cried out in pain after Frank said: “My condolences. Daddy is truly gone.”

Lots of scandals

In the mid-1990s, at the height of his career, Michael Jackson was accused of child molestation, repeatedly appeared in court and was asked to pay tens of millions of dollars in compensation. First, the boy Jordan Chandler and his father filed a lawsuit against Michael for sexual abuse, providing evidence that Michael touched his private parts and then performed some sexual acts. The police began an investigation. Michael’s entire Neverland Ranch (California) was ransacked. Although many family members, including the orphans Michael cared for there and friends, affirmed Michael’s innocence, a statement by his sister La Toya Jackson that Michael always found pleasure in having sex with children (later retracted) made him collapse. The investigation found no evidence and Michael declared his innocence, criticizing the American media for deliberately creating scandals to gain profit.

After this event, Michael sought oblivion in drugs. He became heavily addicted, his health deteriorated so much that he was forced to cancel the final shows of the Dangerous World Tour to enter a rehab facility. In 2003, Michael continued to suffer public criticism when he was accused of the same crime for the second time. 14-year-old Gavin Arvizo claimed that Michael had lured him into bed. The trial lasted until May 2005 before ending with the verdict: Michael Jackson was acquitted!

Currently, the world press is exploiting the information that Michael Jackson’s second wife, Debbie Rowe, once confessed that her first two children, Prince and Paris, were not the King of Pop’s biological children. Previously, in 2005, Ireland’s Sunday World newspaper revealed that Debbie became pregnant from another man’s sperm through artificial insemination. Debbie further confirmed that she and Michael had never shared a bed. After giving birth to two children for Michael, Debbie received 9 million USD and “terminated the contract”.

Regarding Michael’s mysterious death, Reuters reported that Dr. Conrad Murray, who was with Michael before he died, told Los Angeles police that he did not inject painkillers into the King of Pop. “My client only used heart stimulants when Michael was dying.” Murray’s personal lawyer spoke on June 28 after many reports that Dr. Murray injected the painkiller Demerol, causing Michael’s heart to stop beating. Meanwhile, Michael’s father, Joe Jackson, said the family is waiting for the results of the second forensic examination.

The Daily Mail reported that the Jackson family is preparing to hold a funeral for Michael: at his home this weekend for about 1 million people to come and say goodbye to Michael. His body will be buried at Neverland Ranch. This could be the largest funeral in the history of the entertainment industry
