Conrad Murray, pop star Michael Jackson’s personal physician, recently said that while he was alive, Michael confided to him that his biological father used chemical castration to maintain the singer’s high-pitched voice.

Two weeks after Michael Jackson’s father, Joe Jackson, died of pancreatic cancer, Dr. Murray revealed this terrible secret in a video produced by The Blast, a celebrity news website.
Conrad Murray, 65, who served time behind bars for his role in Michael’s death, claimed the pop star told him about the “great suffering” Michael endured at the hands of his father.

In the video, Murray said: “Michael mentioned the brutality he experienced at the hands of his father, especially the abusive treatment. In fact, Michael was chemically castrated by his father to maintain his high-pitched, clear voice.”
Murray also attacked Joe Jackson in the 69-second video clip, saying “Joe is one of the worst fathers in history in terms of treating his children.” Murray hoped that the 89-year-old father was receiving “salvation from hell.”

Michael also accused his father of being physically abusive towards him on several occasions. In his 1988 autobiography Moonwalk, Michael wrote,  “We had to act for him, and he would criticize us. And if we messed up, we got beaten, sometimes with a whip, sometimes with a belt. My father was really hard on us, really hard.”
In 2010, Joe Jackson filed a lawsuit against Dr. Murray for his role in the wrongful death of Michael Jackson at the age of 50, but dropped the lawsuit in 2012. Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in late 2011 for providing Michael Jackson with a lethal dose of propofol, a powerful anesthetic. He was released in October 2013.
