Marcus Jordan

Hittin’ the slopes. Marcus Jordan might not be competing in the Olympic Games, but recent images of him in France have social media users up in arms, as it appears he is training for the Winter Olympics. Pictures of Jordan in the South of France surfaced yesterday, sitting poolside with friends, putting a metal device with a white substance up to his nose. While there has been no confirmation as to what the substance is, the public is fairly certain it is illegal. Marcus has been partying in Saint Tropez and Cannes, known for its world-class film festival, with his new woman, model Ashley Stevenson. Jordan recently went through a very public breakup with Larsa Pippen, who was married to his father’s teammate, Scottie Pippen. The two officially called it quits in July, and it appears Jordan is enjoying his new romance. Stevenson’s Instagram says she lives in Orlando and has a B.S in Nutrition & Dietetics from University of North Florida.

Snapped poolside with his new lady friend and some others, Jordan lifts the substance to his nose, looking dialed in, and is seen smiling and giggling shortly after.

After these images surfaced across social media, the internet started spouting various opinions. While many are comparing his potential use of recreational drugs to his father’s use in the ’80s, others are comparing the actions of Marcus Jordan to Lebron James’ son, Bronny James. The comparison is that Bronny was raised to be a more upstanding citizen than Marcus:

While the age gap between Marcus and Bronny is significant, many are pushing that fact aside and praising LeBron for his parenting and his son’s actions versus Michael’s son. The other half of the internet is more fascinated with the fact paparazzi or fans were able to spot him out of a crowd, snapping the seemingly incriminating image. Those on this half of the debate are more concerned about protecting people’s privacy. Granted, when you are the son of one of the most famous NBA players and dated the ex-wife of your father’s teammate, who was also in the public eye, you will be in the public eye. Regardless of which side you are on, Marcus Jordan is clearly enjoying his time in The City of Love and the sandy beaches of South France. Check out some of my favorite comments from the images.

He has a nose infection and is applying medication on a Q-tip, brother. Stop assuming things.” “All I’m saying is LeBron James’ kids would never, I know who my goat is.”

“LET PEOPLE DO BLOW IN PEACE.”

“That forehead vein says it all, bruh, lol.”

“That’s cocaine, my friend, which is a hell of a drug (I’m told). That’s wild that he literally got caught in the act.”
