EXCLUSIVE: Vice Ganda’s GMA Gala 2024 Dress is Made Out of Film Materials
Vice Ganda’s presence commands attention for many reasons; and at the GMA Gala 2024, it’s because of her red carpet look
After their first attendance to the occasion last year, the entourage of the It’s Showtime hosts had been long anticipated at the GMA Gala 2024. There is a particular attention to Vice Ganda, whose creative eye—manifesting from her witty spiels with to her expressive fashion—was definitely a highlight of every occasion including that night. Experimenting with a more subtle yet equally standout look, the host channeled a particular vibe for the very first time—sleek and sultry.
This year, Vice graced the GMA gala in a piece from Valdrin Sahiti’s “Vortex” collection. The Albanian designer turned the film-based materials into wearable fabric that truly gave another meaning to bling. “After considering three exquisite dresses, that [piece] from Sahiti’s collection was the clear standout from Vice,” Aaron Mangsat, Vice’s stylist, shared in an exclusive interview with MEGA.

The overall direction of the comedienne’s look was meticulously planned out, from her fashion to her glam. Mangsat adds, “Vice’s beauty look, exquisitely done by Emman Concepcion, centered on glossy eyelids, and complemented by a polished complexion and defined features.”
Vice Ganda decided to debut a new hairstyle at the gala—a sleek, side-parted blunt cut. “Her sleek and sultry hairstyle was done by Buern Rodriguez, and we wanted the overall look to be elegant and spunky, but still suitable for a formal event like the GMA Ball,” he shares.
