Earlier, the actress-TV host posted a photo of several relatives on ‘X’, along with a question for Josh.
“Look @joshcullen_s yung lola mo pala pinsan ng mama ko so pamangkin kita? Tama ba?” Amy asked in her X post.
Josh immediately came back with his answer, giving an affirmative answer to Amy’s question.
“Tama po!” Josh answered on X.
What came next, however, was something that Amy might not have expected.
“Ibig sabihin po ba nun pwede niyo na ko bigyan ng mana? 😂” Josh jokingly asked Amy, which in English meant that since he’s a confirmed nephew, then he’s entitled to inherit something from the actress.
Amy gamely replied, saying that Josh is richer that her.
“Hahahaha 😆 mana agad? Mas mayaman ka sa akin! 😂” Amy said in her post.
Netizens had a field day with this exchange.
“Wow @tyangamyp, this is quite a revelation. May lahing artista pala talaga ang ssob namin. 🥰
@JoshCullen_s, in a way, malayong kamag-anak mo na rin sila Ms. Lorna T, Ms Sza Sza P, Sir Rudy F, at ang napakalaking Padilla at Fernandez showbiz clan!!! 🤯” a netizen said.
“Nasa dugo pala ang di tumatanda☺️,” another netizen said.
“Naalala ko sinabi ni Stell, na parang daga si Josh lahat kasi ng puntahan may kamaganak hahah,” yet another netizen chimed in.
Amy Perez is a veteran host and actress in the Philippines. She is one of the hosts of the ABS-CBN variety program “It’s Showtime” and is known as a loyal Kapamilya.
Meanwhile in a previous post, Amy denounced the acts of those whom she alleged used her video for a particular product. The actress and TV host warned her followers not to use the said product. She also alleged that the people behind the supposed endorsement footage stole her video and used it, making it appear she’s endorsing their product. The TV host also warned everyone to be careful, adding that her age as mentioned in the alleged endorsement video is wrong.
It can be recalled that months ago, Amy also slammed the use of her face and voice using artificial intelligence or AI in a video posted on social media endorsing a menopausal drug. In the said video, one can see Amy talking to a person and attesting to the efficacy of a particular menopausal drug. What made the video a bit creepy was the voice talking sounded like the real Amy Perez, while the face is hers but manipulated by AI to make it appear she’s the one spewing out words. In a social media post, Amy denied having any connection to the said advertisement that promoted the menopausal drug.
