Transitioning from being a teen to a woman is difficult enough, especially when we talk about those mood swings, confusion on where your life is headed, and even changes on how your skin reacts on certain beauty products. It takes a lot of courage and strength to get through it whole, but teen queen Kathryn Bernardo makes transitioning from being a teen (queen) to being a woman look so easy.
So during Pond’s Philippines’ event where they launched her as one of the brand’s newest ambassadors, we ask her how she does it—with the whole world watching her every move. Her answer? Something that we all need to remember by heart.
“I take it one day at a time and I don’t rush things. And important ‘yung makilala mo ‘yung sarili mo para alam mo kung ano ‘yung likes and dislikes mo,” she tells us. “Pag ganoon, mas madali mong maha-handle lahat.”
No wonder that in this fast-paced world we live in and in the dizzying industry she works in, Kath has always come out stronger and better even if there are a lot of people who try to bring her down.
She’s secured with herself and with who she is, and she knows what really matters in life. You go, Kath! We’re always rooting for you!
As for us, this is something we should all remember.
It’s so easy to get lost in a world where the word “goals” and “inspo” have been used so often, but when we do know ourselves, we will always find a solid ground to stand on—no matter how chaotic or still our world may be.
