Kathryn Bernardo received a heartfelt message from her mom, Min, in celebration of her 28th birthday. On Instagram, Min shared a carousel of photos, including a solo portrait of the Kath and a family picture, and said, “Shout out to you my daughter, you haven’t felt okay lately but you get up everyday and refuse to quit.”
According to Min, she appreciates Kath’s “desire to talk and share your problems, ideas and opinions“ as well as “how you consider the guidance of our family in every step of the way.”
She then wished Kathryn a happy birthday.
In the slides, Min also included some quotes, including “The only people who deserve to be in your life are the ones who treat you with love, kindness, and respect.”
Kathryn celebrated her birthday at a beach in El Nido, Palawan, where the likes of Alden Richards and the rest of “Hello, Love goodbye” cast, Jericho Rosales, and Dominic Roque attended.
Apart from marking her birthday with the honor of being the first Filipino ambassador of Lancome, Kathryn also received a birthday greeting from her ex-boyfriend, Daniel Padilla. The former couple announced their split in November last year.
Kathryn Bernardo has often spoken about how important her mom, Min, is to her, not just as a parent but as a source of strength, guidance, and inspiration. Their bond goes beyond the typical mother-daughter relationship.
Min has been a constant support system throughout Kathryn’s career, especially as the pressures of showbiz life intensified.
In interviews, Kathryn has shared that her mom is one of her biggest motivators, always encouraging her to stay grounded and focused, regardless of the external pressures or challenges she faces.
Min’s influence on Kathryn’s life can be seen in how she approaches both her personal and professional journey. She credits her mom for teaching her the values of hard work, humility, and gratitude, all of which have played a major role in her success.
Even as Kathryn rose to fame and became a beloved figure in Philippine showbiz, Min remained a guiding figure, always offering advice, emotional support, and even a shoulder to lean on during tough times.
