Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their fandom, KathNiel.
On Instagram, Kathryn Bernardo honored their fans with a post where she enumerated the things she loves and appreciates about KathNiel. She pointed out how their fans stand up for, protect, and inspire each other—that they are “capable of giving so much love” and are “the best cheerleaders.” KathNiel, Kathryn writes, is “a fandom that has eventually turned into a family.”
“Happy 10th anniversary to us, kathniels! Maraming Salamat sa inyong lahat,” she adds.
Daniel Padilla, on the other hand, filled his Instagram Stories with reposts from their fans who are celebrating “a decade of love.” These KathNiel fans supported him and Kathryn throughout their journey as a reel-to-real couple.
Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla were first paired in the teen drama series Growing Up, which premiered on September 4, 2011. With their palpable chemistry, more and more projects came their way, and each one solidified their status as an in-demand, phenomenal loveteam up to this day.
The projects they starred in together on television were Princess and I (2012), Got to Believe (2013), Pangako Sa’Yo (2015), and La Luna Sangre (2017). They also topbilled well-loved, buzzworthy, and box office movies such as Must Be… Love (2013), She’s Dating the Gangster (2014), Crazy Beautiful You (2015), Barcelona: A Love Untold (2016), Can’t Help Falling in Love (2017), and The Hows of Us (2018).
In an Instagram Live last Friday, Kathryn said, “As much as we want to celebrate this ika-10th year, wala tayong magawa sa sitwasyon ngayon. Pero maging thankful pa rin tayo kasi hindi lahat nararating ‘tong sampung taon, at ginawa n’yo ‘yung posible. Solid! Thank you, guys.”
Daniel added, “Ginawa nating lahat. Itutuloy natin ang kwento na ‘yan sa sorpresa namin para sa inyo.”
The two shared that they’re working on a special treat for KathNiel fans this month.
