Bea Alonzo laughed off rumor linking her to a non-showbiz guy.
Fans and gossipmongers started speculating about Bea having a new boyfriend when her photos with the said guy circulated online.
To clarify these photos, the Widows’ War actress posted a short statement on her Instagram Story last night, November 12.
It read, “Okay, this is getting out of hand. Can we all relax? WE ARE JUST FRIENDS. And the stories are getting ridiculous [laughing emoji]. Kalma lang po tayo.”
Bea’s last relationship was with her ex-fiancé, Dominic Roque. They got engaged in July 2023. Unfortunately, the celebrity couple broke up a few months later, which they confirmed in a joint statement.
In a previous interview on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda, Bea talked about her life post-breakup.
She said, “I was really enjoying my life. I guess I’m embracing the uncertainty. Because I realized, sometimes we have many plans in our lives, but God’s plans are always better and so I’m just here to embrace uncertainty of what’s in store for me.”

Host Boy Abunda asked Bea Alonzo, “May I have consent to hug you?” Bea answered, “Tito Boy, the hug is no longer shared.”

Bea Alonzo shared that she wants to avoid talking about her breakups, but will clarify misunderstandings about it.
“I really don’t want to talk about this anymore, baka nga may mga nalilito.”
Mutual decision
“It became a mutual decision, of course we worked it out,” Bea Alonzo said.

Bea Alonzo added, “It was a very serious relationship. We didn’t take the decision lightly, it was a process. It was a long process.”
Support
Having a strong support system really helped in moving on, “The support system is a big thing – my family and my friends especially on the recent one, I really made sure that the process was more introspective. I really made sure that I reflect on the things that are my mistakes or things that hurt my heart,” Bea Alonzo shared.
Gratitude
Bea Alonzo says she has nothing but gratitude for her experiences.
“Maraming salamat. I’m grateful. I’m grateful to all the beautiful memories and even the not-so-beautiful memories because it made me stronger, it made me who I am right now.”
