GMA Gala Controversy: Sandro Muhlach Files Complaint Against Network Affiliates; GMA Promises Impartial Probe
Rising Kapuso star Sandro Muhlach has officially filed a complaint against two independent contractors associated with GMA Network Inc., stirring public attention and speculation.
The network, under the leadership of Chairman Felipe Gozon, confirmed the formal filing in a statement released on Thursday. The complaint names Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz as respondents.
“GMA Network has already initiated an internal investigation into the matter prior to the receipt of the formal complaint from Mr. Muhlach,” the statement read.
The network also emphasized its commitment to confidentiality and fairness, stating, “Out of respect for Sandro’s request for privacy, no further details about the investigation will be disclosed until its resolution.”
GMA assured its stakeholders of its commitment to transparency and integrity, adding, “The network guarantees an impartial and thorough investigation, prioritizing fairness to all parties involved.”
While the network refrains from revealing specifics, rumors have circulated online about allegations of misconduct involving a young actor and two consultants at a private event following GMA’s prestigious Gala Night held on July 20 at Marriott Manila.
