Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly keen to sign up Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz as the first married couple to appear on the show.

The 2024 line-up of Strictly Come Dancing is already on everyone’s lips, with married couple Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz reportedly being eyed up by BBC bosses to appear together on the show.

The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham and his wife are said to be big celebrity targets for the next season of the BBC dance competition. The pair would be the first-ever married couple to appear on the show and be pitted against each other.

A source claimed to The Sun: “Brooklyn and Nicola are very glam and perfectly fit the profile for the kind of celebs who bosses are after. They’d love to get Brooklyn on the show as he is immediately recognisable to Strictly’s core audience.

“Nicola would be brilliant, but she’s still not very well known here despite being the daughter-in-law of our most famous celebrity couple. So to get them on the same show, competing against each other — that would be a producer’s dream.”

Express.co.uk have contacted representatives of Brooklyn Beckham, Nicola Peltz and the BBC for comment.

Nicola is the daughter of billionaire Nelson Peltz. The 29-year-old married Brooklyn in a three-day-long bash in 2022, with Gordon Ramsay, Mel C, Venus and Serena Williams all in attendance.

The pair recently left fans gobsmacked when they did a re-enactment of the famous dance lift from Dirty Dancing. In a social media post in January, the couple shared the video on their Instagram stories whilst they were partying at a glamorous NYE bash.

Brooklyn and Nicola started dating in 2020 and live between their home in Palm Beach, Florida and their family’s luxury apartment in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, the rest of the Beckhams live near Chipping Norton, and also have a posh pad near Holland Park in London.

Brooklyn has recently come under scrutiny again for constantly changing his career choices. The 24-year-old aspiring chef launched his first-ever pop-up restaurant earlier this year.

He has been under constant backlash for not sticking to one career path for a long period of time. Brooklyn gave football a go when he played in Arsenal’s youth academy, but didn’t follow in his father’s footsteps.

The star then followed his mother into fashion and did some modelling, before he embarked on a photography degree at Parsons School of Design in New York. However, he dropped out after less than a year.

He then ignited his passion for cooking, but recently shared that he’s become a personal trainer. Meanwhile, his younger brother Romeo plays professional football for Brentford B.
