But it was Oleksandr Usyk who won a narrow split decision over Fury – with many fans now wondering if they will do it all again.
Well, SunSport is on hand to answer all your queries about a potential second fight between the pair.
Is there a rematch clause for Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk?
A rematch clause proved to be a contentious issue before the first collapse of the undisputed dust-up.
The pair were on course to throw down in a Wembley war last April before WBC heavyweight king Fury demanded a rematch clause be REMOVED from the contract.
Fury took his demands to social media and very the public negotiations eventually led to the spring showdown falling through.

The rematch clause, however, didn’t appear to be an issue in negotiations for Saturday night’s Saudi showdown.

When will the rematch take place?
Saudi boxing chief, H.E. Turki Alalshikh has confirmed that the rematch has been pencilled in to take place on the weekend of October 12/13.
But should one of them suffer a serious injury such as a horror cut or a very bad concussion from a KO, they likely won’t renew their rivalry until early next year.

Will all the belts be on the line in the rematch?
There is a very simple answer to that question: NO!
That’s because the winner of the bout is set to be STRIPPED of the IBF heavyweight title shortly after their coronation.
The IBF will relieve the victor of their prestigious red belt in order for their mandatory challenger – a title currently held by Filip Hrgovic – to vie for the title.
The American sanctioning body has been patient and allowed an undisputed bout to be pursued for the best part of two years.
And they’re adamant they won’t let the progression of their own rankings be delayed any further after Fury and Usyk throw down.
It’s unclear exactly when they’ll strip the victor and subsequently begin the process of fragmenting the belts.
