Victoria Beckham has been a pillar of support to pal Geri Horner amid the scandal surrounding her marriage with Christian.

Victoria Beckham and Geri Horner have re-kindled their close friendship after the fashion mogul stepped up and supported the singer during her recent crisis. Earlier this month Victoria celebrated her 50th which saw the Spice Girls reunite and perform one of their greatest hits which David Beckham uploaded to Instagram.

Recently Geri’s marriage to Christian Horner was thrown into the spotlight after Whatsapp messages were leaked between him and an employee. A grievance was raised but following an investigation, it was dismissed.

Geri, 51, and her family have been put under the spotlight which has been very unsettling. However, she has stood by her husband’s side.

And insider told Closer that Victoria has offered a shoulder to cry on in her bid to bounce back from the recent controversy. They said: “Victoria has been a tower of strength and support to Geri over the last couple of months, which have been some of the worst of her life.”

Before adding: “If anyone knows what it’s like to have their marriage thrust into the spotlight at the hands of a scandal, and to publicly and privately navigate through such a turbulent time, it’s Victoria. She’s been a rock to Geri, helping to guide and advise her through it all, having been there herself.”

It was suggested that Geri was going to swerve Victoria’s swanky London birthday bash as she did not want to face being thrown back into the limelight, but decided to attend alone.

However, Victoria planned for the bandmates to get back together and perform one of their iconic hits.

Geri stunned in a £760 wedding frock and looked confident as she partied the night away and was snapped in a series of pictures.

Although the atmosphere was noted to be allegedly frosty between Geri and Mel B.

Victoria’s party over the weekend that things were tense despite it being said that Mel, 48, reportedly tried to offer an olive branch.

Despite a video of the famous women spreading like wildfire across the internet Mel and Geri, were allegedly apart for most of the evening.

Mel claimed in a recent interview that Geri has lied about her age for years, and suggested she is not really 51.

Over the years the girls travelled the world during their heyday, but Scary Spice confessed Geri kept her passport under lock and key.

Mel said despite being around her for all those years she kept it close to her chest and never showed anyone – so she “still doesn’t know” how old she is. Following the public confession, it has been suggested there has been an element of distance between them.
