Looks like we’ll be getting a Jake Paul-Tyron Woodley rematch after all.
The undefeated YouTuber was slated to fight heavyweight champion Tyson Fury’s half-brother, Tommy Fury, on December 18 in Tampa, Florida. However, he announced earlier today that Fury had to pull out of the fight, and that Woodley would be stepping in to take his place.
Paul took to his Twitter account to announce the change. He started by taking several shots at Fury, calling him “boxing’s biggest bitch,” while adding, “He fumbled the biggest bag of his life, now he’ll be watching at home paying me $60 instead of getting paid millions of dollars to fight me.”
Jake then announced that the event must go on, and this time he plans on getting the knockout vs. Woodley:
These two fought each other back in August, in a bout that Paul controversially won via split decision. Woodly has apparently been training and keeping himself in shape, so don’t count out his chances of handing Paul his first career loss.
As for Fury, no word on exactly what his medical condition is. He was reportedly feeling ill in November, but his promoter, Frank Warren, downplayed the possibility of his sickness affecting the fight.

Woodley took to Instagram to announce the news as well. No surprised he’s happy to earn another big payday fighting Jake Paul.
Woodley is 0-1 in his boxing career with his only bout coming against Jake Paul. His MMA record stands at 19-7-1 and he’s a former UFC welterweight champion. As for Paul, his boxing record now stands at 4-0 with three knockouts — against YouTuber AnEsonGib, former NBA star Nate Robinson, and former MMA fighter Ben Askren.
