KANYE West has made a surprise appearance in his daughter, North West’s latest social media video.

At first, Kanye, 47, wasn’t a fan of his eldest daughter posing on TikTok, but has since had a “change of heart.”

In the new video posted on Tuesday, North, 10, shared several never-before-seen photos of the pre-teen, her friends, family, and what she’s been up to recently.

She captioned the video with three pink heart emojis with the comments turned off.

However, one photo in particular captured the eyes of viewers: a photo of her and Kanye in a pink-striped picture frame.

Kanye held North while they both smiled for the camera.

In her selfie, the 10-year-old took a selfie with costume makeup on while reading a book and wearing a black graphic T-shirt.

North had on a pink headband with a patterned silk bonnet covering her hair.

NO TIKTOK

In February 2022, Kanye went on a rant regarding his daughter’s social media presence and revealed it was happening “against his will.”

North’s TikTok is run by her mom, Kim Kardashian, 43.

On his Instagram, he shared a screenshot of North from one of her TikTok videos and tagged Kim in the shot.

Kanye asked his followers for help in the caption, ““SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW. WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL?”

Kanye had previously called out his ex for letting their young daughter on the app.

During an interview with Hollywood Unlock‘s Jason Lee earlier this month, he said, “Security ain’t going to be in between me and my children. And my children ain’t going to be on TikTok without my permission.”

One of the biggest issues dates back to Christmas when North gave herself a holiday makeup makeover to look more like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and The Grinch.

In a pair of festive TikToks, the youngster first applied orange makeup to her face and red makeup to her nose to look like the famous reindeer, as the classic Gene Autry song played in the background.

‘TRYING TO ANTAGONIZE ME’

A follow-up video found North, still in full makeup, lip-syncing to an audio quote from the live-action version of The Grinch.

The sight of his daughter dancing in makeup on the video site set Kanye off even more.

“Don’t have my daughter wearing lipstick on TikTok, or don’t have her on TikTok at all, if I’m not there to approve that,” he later said during his interview.

Kanye continued: “It was done without me knowing and it happened again so I feel like it’s poking the bear, trying to antagonize me or create this ‘crazy’ narrative.

“To say someone is crazy, they’re trying to take the power away and do anything to get people to not pay attention to me.”

BACKING DOWN

However, in June 2023, it was reported that Kanye had changed his mind about North being on the app.

A source close to Kim’s ex-husband claimed to US Magazine that the Donda rapper has slightly changed his stance.

The insider claimed: “Although Kanye disagrees with North being allowed to post on TikTok, he appreciates Kim being reasonable about certain content she posts.

“Kanye has a really strong bond with North, and even though he completely trusts her, he knows she’s still very young and can’t always make the best judgment call on what’s appropriate to share with the public and what’s not.”
