Donald Cerrone on the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson scrap

Donald Cerrone has a record 29 wins in the UFC. He was an absolute fan favorite during his prime mainly because of his ability and willingness to fight anyone and everyone. The twilight of his career was a sad one though as he lost six of his last fights in the UFC. Donald Cerrone gave his take on Mike Tyson’s bout with Jake Paul. He said,

This is so crazy to me. Mike Tyson hands down one of the greatest ever right? You’re fighting him at sixty years old. So you beat him, you beat the goat at 60. You’re a piece of shit.

Donald Cerrone made it clear that he is not a fan of this matchup. He criticized Jake for fighting the Hall of famer when he is close to 60. He also mentioned there is no upside in fighting an old man in the boxing ring. If he loses to the legend he is never going to get big in the boxing world.

Jake Paul is known to take on relatively unknown opponents so he can have easy wins on his boxing resume. Paul fought one boxer of his age Tommy Fury, who is from the Fury clan and happens to be the younger brother of Tyson Fury. He lost the fight to Tommy via unanimous decision. Jake Paul is getting heavily criticized by the fight world in recent times since he announced his fight against Mike Tyson.
