Victoria Beckham reaches out to Nicola Peltz as she pays heartbreaking tribute to ‘angel’ grandma

Victoria Beckham has publicly shown her support to her daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz following the devastating news of her grandmother’s death.

Nicola’s “naunni” died at the age of 95 on Thursday, with the actress sharing a heartbreaking message days later on Sunday on social media. In the Instagram post, she paid tribute to her “angel” grandmother and admitted she feels like she may never have the right words for the devastating news.

Among the thousands of people to offer their support to Nicola was husband Brooklyn Beckham’s mum. The former Spice Girl, whose relationship with her daughter-in-law is sometimes questioned, was quick to let Nicola know she is in her thoughts.

Victoria wrote under the post, which included a carousel of pictures of Naunni Bunny: “Nicola we all feel so blessed to have loved naunni. We are so sorry for your loss and send you love and light at this incredibly difficult time.We love you so so much.”

In her emotional tribute, Nicola said she can’t believe she has had to say goodbye to her grandmother, who was also her maid of honour on her wedding day. She added: “I really pray so hard you’re at peace right now.

“I still don’t understand where you went. I just wish you stayed with me longer, there was so much I wanted to do with you. I wanted to be with you all summer. I’m sad you will never get to meet my kids, hug me, talk to me or watch any other movies I make. I’m so heartbroken and miss you so much. I’m so lucky you were my Naunni.”

In the touching message, Nicola praised her grandmother for raising “the most perfect daughter” in her mother. She also thanked her for knowing exactly how to make her happy when she needed it.

“I feel so broken inside,” she went on. “I just wish you could be here with me. You were the happiest and most beautiful lady I’ve ever met and I was so lucky to grow up with your love and laughter. I know you always told me happiness is a choice but now being an adult and remembering that, I only know now how strong you were because I’m not as strong as you, I don’t feel any happiness I just miss you so much.”

Nicola ended by pleading with her naunni to send a sign that she is close to her, before signing off her her sweet nickname, revealing she was her naunni’s “dolly”.

Continuing her tribute, Nicola later shared a number of videos to her social platform and said she misses her “more than you will ever know my bunny”.
