The former footballer celebrated his 44th birthday on Thursday with wife Victoria Beckham and children Brooklyn, 20, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 14, and Harper, 7.

But while the kids gave dad “cheeky” cards, the pop star-turned-designer, 45, went the more practical route, gifting her husband two sticks of La Roche-Posay deodorant ($14).

(“I did ask for it though,” Beckham admitted on his Instagram Stories.)

Despite that seemingly low-grade gift, the athlete was not wont for pricey presents; he also received a monogrammed leather bag from Victoria, who posted a sweet photo to mark the occasion.

“Happy Birthday @davidbeckham You are our everything xxx We love u so much x Kisses❤️,” she captioned it.

Perhaps Beckham’s most meaningful birthday gift, however, came from “Game of Thrones” star Gwendoline Christie.

The actress sent a video of herself in character as Brienne of Tarth, reciting the official knight’s vow to “shield his back” and give her life if necessary.

“I can’t believe this,” Beckham wrote over the clip, which he also shared on social media.
