A GMA screenwriter has denied that Bea Alonzo‘s projects with the networks were first offered to Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, a claim that was discussed recently during the vlog of entertainment talk show host and talent manager Ogie Diaz, and his team.

On Facebook, RJ Nuevas said TV projects given to Alonzo were created with her in mind, and not “crumbs,” contrary to alleged claims of Diaz and fellow hosts Loi Villarama and Brenda Lualhati last Feb. 12, citing unnamed sources, that before a certain project could be offered to Alonzo, it first had been through Rivera’s perusal.

“Hindi po ito totoo! Hiningan po ako ng concept for Bea Alonzo, at ang naisip ko at ipinasa at naaprubahan ng mga boss ay ang ‘Widows’ War,’” he said, while sharing a screengrab of Lualhati and Diaz’s vlog.

(This is not true! I was asked to create a concept for Bea Alonzo, and what I conceptualized and was approved by the bosses was “Widows’ War.”)

The screenwriter said the upcoming show is meant for Alonzo, as well as her past two shows with the Kapuso network referring to “Love Before Sunrise” and “Start-Up PH.”

“Para po talaga kay Bea ang show at walang inalukan na iba. Ganon din po ang dalawa niyang naunang shows (The show is meant for Bea and no one else. This also applies to her past two shows),” he said.
