Although “Me” has not yet been officially released, it has already attracted a lot of attention from the fan communities of both Elton John and Michael Jackson. The two artists have known each other since Jackson was a young boy. “I knew Michel when he was 13 or 14. He was the most adorable kid you could imagine,” Elton John wrote.

However, over the years, the British singer is said to have begun to worry about Jackson’s changes and believes that the King of Pop has begun to “isolate himself from the world”. The famous singer who once “made waves” with songs in the classic animated film “Lion King” said that he felt very sorry when his colleague gradually went astray. He also emphasized that it was very difficult to be with Jackson.

“God only knows what was going on in his head and God only knows what drugs he was taking; but every time I saw Jackson in his last years, I thought the poor guy had lost himself completely,” Elton John recalled. “And I mean this in the most serious way. He was a complete psychopath, a very difficult person to be around.”

The singer, who is in the top 5 best-selling albums in the world, also mentioned the time Jackson attended a party and was found playing with the maid’s son. According to him, the “Thriller” singer did not want to be near adults.

Michael Jackson died unexpectedly of a drug overdose in 2009. This year, a four-hour HBO documentary called “Leaving Neverland” told the stories of two men – James Safechuck and Wade Robson, who were friends with Jackson as children.

The two accused the King of Pop of sexually abusing them for years. The documentary caused a huge controversy with several radio stations around the world, including Canada, New Zealand and Australia, banning Jackson’s music. The Jackson family denied all the allegations and called Safechuck and Robson opportunists.

Elton John’s autobiography will hit shelves on October 15. In addition to Jackson, “Me” also includes his memories of Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth II, as well as a harrowing near-death experience.
