LeBron James has recently made headlines as part of the first father-son duo to play simultaneously in the NBA, following Bronny James’ draft with the Los Angeles Lakers. What’s even more remarkable is that LeBron’s health and performance levels have remained nearly the same since Bronny’s birth. Recently, Jeff Teague shared James’ endurance on the court as the healthiest player in the league.

During the “Club 520 Podcast,” Teague shared a story about James playing through a serious ankle injury while he was with the Miami Heat.

“This n**ga rolled his ankle. I swear to God, that *b**ch touched the floor. We weren’t hyped he was hurt, but we were like, ‘He’s out. We’re about to win this game. He’s out. No bulls**t, I ain’t lying. N**ga did like this [neck stretch]. N**ga started wiggling his foot and stayed in the game,” Teague said.

Teague was convinced that James would leave the court, but LeBron’s incredible endurance and quick recovery left him in awe. He could not but mention LeBron as an ‘alien.’

“I was like, ‘He’s an alien, y’all.’ I said, ‘He’s not real, bro.’ … [He came back] running faster, he came back stronger,” he added.

LeBron James’ Miami Heat career

LeBron James became a member of the Miami Heat in the 2010-11 season and remained with the team until the 2013-14 season. During his tenure, he formed a powerful trio alongside Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

Throughout his illustrious career, the 39-year-old star has secured four championships, two of which he won with the Miami Heat. James clinched his first title with Miami in 2012 and the second in 2013.

During his time with the Heat, James played 294 games, averaging 26.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game.
