There’s no denying that Kathryn Bernardo is living in the moment. After her high-profile breakup with longtime boyfriend Daniel Padilla, the 27-year-old actress has been enjoying flying solo for a change. Since the split, Kath has dyed her hair orange, stepped out in a sleuth of daring outfits, and just recently became the most followed Filipino celebrity on Instagram! Talk about making the most out of her singlehood!
Her most recent fashion statement proves that Kath is in her best fashion era yet. In an Instagram post, designer Mark Bumgarner revealed her look for the opening number of the ABS-CBN Christmas Special and captioned it perfectly with the statement, “That golden glow of going solo.”

The custom gold chainmail knit jumpsuit looks straight out of Studio 54 and is a nod to the popular ’70s disco silhouette with its deep-V neckline, cinched waist, and flared hem. Not one to show decolletage many moons ago, Kath is obviously on the path to change her image by revealing more skin. But she does so in the most classy way possible. Instead of going braless, Mark created a matching bralette for extra coverage while also accentuating her cleavage perfectly. Her stylists Kim and Boop Yap then finished off the entire ensemble with a pair of Tiffany HardWear Graduated Link earrings.

Keeping to the warm color palette of her entire ‘fit, her glam was kept simple. Kath sported terracotta lids, a peachy flush, and a nude lip by makeup artist Justine Claudia del Rosario, while her tresses were styled to bombshell perfection thanks to her trusted hair stylist John Valle. It’s honestly giving Bond Girl vibes and we’re all for it!
