Sharon Cuneta thrilled over chance encounter with Alden Richards
As seen on the video that circulated in the Internet, the Megastar was obviously surprised when the Pambansang Bae came up to her to say hi.
Sharon gushed, “Naku, nice to meet you! Si Maine [Mendoza] na lang ang hindi ko nami-meet.”
For his part, Alden was equally nervous to be up close and personal with the Megastar.
He said, “Kinabahan ako… Nice to meet you po.”
Ever the gentleman, Alden shook Sharon’s hands and shyly bowed his head out of respect for the veteran actress-singer-TV host.
In her Facebook post last Monday, Sharon mentioned that she met Alden while she was having dinner with her daughters KC, Frankie and Miel.
“Today, after a happy first rehearsal day for my Solaire concerts, then dinner with KC, Frankie and Miguel at our favorite Makati restaurant, Sakura, with the bonus of meeting Alden Richards there (Frankie is a big ALDUB and Liza Soberano, Daniel Padilla fan. We all are too.)”
Two days before their chance meeting, Sharon had been vocal in saying that she’s a big fan of AlDub (Alden and Yaya Dub a.k.a. Maine Mendoza).
Speaking about the phenomenal tandem, Sharon tweeted, “I think they are both adorable!”
