Anne Curtis is one proud friend to Vice Ganda, who starred in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, “And the Breadwinner Is…” as she gave an honest review calling it a film with “beautiful storytelling, cinematography, and amazing acting from everyone.”
In an Instagram post on Thursday, Anne shared snaps from the screening with fellow celebrities including Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino, Liz Uy, among others.
She also encouraged the “Madlang People” to watch the drama film, saying that she is proud of her friend, Vice Ganda who delivered an outstanding performance.
“So proud of my sisterette, given na ‘yung comedic timing but that one scene was delivered with so much sincerity which had me bawling my eyes out,” she said.
“Kitang-kita n’yo naman sa last slide kung paano kayo lalabas ng sinehan. Congratulations Team “And the Breadwinner Is…” I loved it so much. […] A film for a family that will give you realizations no matter which part of the puzzle you are when it comes to your family, “ she added.
The drama-comedy movie revolves around a selfless and confidently beautiful breadwinner named Bambi (Vice) who has committed her entire life as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Taiwan in order to provide for her dysfunctional family.
