Celebrities often find themselves at the center of rumors—whether it’s about pregnancies, breakups, infidelity, or financial troubles. But for Andrea Brillantes, it seems there’s always something next for her to address especially when it comes to facial enhancements.
Recently, a netizen on TikTok left a rather provocative comment on Andrea’s post, suggesting, “Baka ginawa ni doc?” implying that her features might be due to plastic surgery or enhancements. This comes amid her winning the number one spot in TC Candler’s Top 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2024.
Andrea, however, didn’t hesitate to respond. She posted a TikTok video featuring a slideshow of her throwback photos, showing that her facial features have been consistent over the years. The video came with a caption reading, “My Face Card Since NINE Years Old.”
“Pretty since day one baby [insert heart emojis] pretty with or without enchantments [insert wink emoji],” Andrea proudly captioned the video.
Her fans quickly rallied behind her, with one fan commenting, “Ang tapang mo na beh. I luv it,” while another added, “Bakit ba hirap na hirap silang tanggapin na MAGANDA ka talaga dati palang,” further supporting Andrea’s natural beauty and confidence.
Andrea Brillantes Responds To Plastic Surgery Allegations
This isn’t the first time Andrea has addressed such facial enhancement claims. Being in the spotlight since she was a child, Andrea has been a target of many unsolicited comments.
In a 2021 YouTube vlog, Andrea took the opportunity to debunk the assumptions surrounding her appearance, including rumors about plastic surgery and facial enhancements.
“Hindi po ako retokada, pero thanks for thinking that. Ibig sabihin may maganda sa mukha ko para maisip niyo na retokada ako,” Andrea explained, giving a confident response to the rumors.
She further clarified, “Titignan niyo rin naman yung mga baby pictures ko, kung iisipin niyo na peke yung ilong ko. Nag–ma-mature ang mukha,” emphasizing that her features were simply evolving as she went through puberty.
Andrea’s natural beauty and talent have not only been recognized in the Philippines but also internationally. In TC Candler’s Top 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2024 list, which was released just before 2025, Andrea claimed the top spot, earning her recognition as the most beautiful face of the year.
