Binibining Pilipinas is celebrating its 60th year with a bang as it introduces new crowns and bigger prizes for its upcoming pageant.
The two crowns, designed by Manny Halasan, were unveiled during the Bb. Pilipinas 2024 press presentation on Friday.
Featuring ethical diamonds, the crowns draw inspiration from the Bb. Pilipinas logo and incorporates the three stars and a sun from the country’s flag.
Meanwhile, Bb. Pilipinas also announced during the press presentation that it will be giving away P1 million to each of the two winners of the upcoming pageant. Two crowns are at stake this year: Bb. Pilipinas International 2024 and Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2024.
Two runners-up, meanwhile, will receive P400,000 each. Organizers said P1 million will also be donated to World Vision, a child-focused private charity.
The Bb. Pilipinas 2024 coronation night will be held on July 7 at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.
