Not entirely accurate but we get his point. As for who’s ready to slide for Drake, we reported earlier that Lil Wayne seemed to show solidarity for Drizzy while performing in Vegas. When Drake’s song “The Motto” was spinning, Wayne made some noticeable changes to the bars. Weezy rapped, “They don’t like us” while holding up his OVO pendant. Tuh.
If you recall or maybe you don’t care, either way, Kendrick dropped Wayne’s name in “Not Like Us.” He dropped the bar “F—d on Wayne girl while he was in jail, that’s connivin’/ Then get his face tatted like a b—h apologizin’.” So, how much did that annoy or amuse Wayne? We’ll never know but one thing we do get is Weezy was repping OVO. Period.
To Soulja’s point, a gang of Drake’s previous collaborators turned antagonizes kicked start the whole beef. Taking sneak dissing to another level until Kendrick went in. Future, Metro Boomin, ASAP, and even the Weeknd, threw their hat into the ring. And the rest is history.
So does Soulja Boy have a point? One thing is for sure, Drake for now, appears unbothered.
