In the middle of all the drama surrounding Bea Alonzo, Gerald Anderson, Julia Barretto, and Joshua Garcia, Gerald and Joshua made appearances at the ABS-CBN trade event yesterday to promote their upcoming shows. Gerald is starring in the military drama A Soldier’s Heart, while Joshua is in the thriller romance The Killer Bride.

They each performed onstage with fellow cast members. Joshua had a duet with co-star Janella Salvador right after Gerald’s performance with the cast of A Soldier’s Heart.

The two actors were also “within close proximity to each other” at the two shows’ photo booths, according to ABS-CBN News.

Yesterday, ABS-CBN uploaded a Facebook video of Joshua reenacting scenes from drama series Budoy as Gerald’s titular character, One More Chance as Popoy (played by John Lloyd Cruz), and Sarah… Ang Munting Prinsesa as the titular princess (played by Camille Prats). It’s not clear exactly when Joshua filmed the video.

On Monday, the Philippine Star reported on Gerald’s reaction to the cheating allegations. “Ganoon talaga, ganoon talaga e, parang ‘di kayo sanay diyan. Sanay na ‘ko, sanay kami sa showbiz. I just stay positive at sa dami kong ginagawa sa buhay, parang wala tayong oras para luminya sa mga issues,” he said with a laugh. “Just keep moving forward.”

The issue blew up on Sunday when Bea posted a cryptic message about having had “enough” and that a mistake made twice is a choice. Fans also noticed Bea supposedly liking posts that linked her boyfriend of almost three years to Julia, who starred with Gerald in Between Maybes.

On Saturday, Gerald and Julia went to Rayver Cruz’s birthday party and were allegedly spotted getting “flirty” with each other. Last month, Julia and Joshua, who celebrated their second anniversary in April, announced that they are now “best friends.”
