Vice Ganda, Nabanggit Si Deniece Cornejo Ng Mali Sa Kalokalike Segment Ng It’s Showtime! Naging Super Awkward With Vhong Navarro on Stage!

An amusing yet awkward moment occurred on the program It’s Showtime when Vice Ganda accidentally referred to a Kalokalike contestant, impersonating Denise Laurel, as Deniece Cornejo. Deniece Cornejo is a controversial figure currently in custody due to her alleged actions against Vhong Navarro, who is also a co-host on the said show.

 

While Vice was talking to the impersonator of Denise Laurel, he accidentally mixed up the names and called her Deniece Cornejo. The incident became even more awkward since Vhong Navarro was on the same stage when the mistake happened.

 

 

After Vice said, “How well do you know Deniece Cornejo?”, Denise Laurel immediately approached Vhong Navarro and hugged the actor in reaction to the awkward situation. Vice also realized his mistake and hugged Denise to apologize.

 

This incident reminded viewers of the case involving Deniece Cornejo back in 2014, where she was accused of being part of a group allegedly involved in forcing Vhong Navarro into a kidnapping incident. Years later, the Supreme Court declared Vhong innocent of the accusations.
