Popular streamer Darren Jason Watkins Jr., more popularly known as ‘IShowSpeed,’ is currently in the Philippines. He has been livestreaming his trip, giving his fans and followers a closer look into what he has been doing in the country.

One of the highlights from his streams include a meeting with all-time great boxer Manny Pacquiao. The popular streamer even engaged in a sparring session with Pacquiao.

Surrounded by bodyguards and spectators, the YouTuber and Pacquiao gently pawed at each other, with the latter not taking any part of the exchange seriously. Ultimately, the American began committing to his body shots, prompting the Filipino legend to respond in kind, landing an uppercut to the midsection.

However, it should be noted that Pacquiao didn’t seem to put any sting behind his body shot and the YouTuber’s reaction was likely exaggerated for comedic effect. The sparring session, while a highlight, was only a small part of the three-hour livestream the American uploaded to his official YouTube channel.

A clip of the sparring session has been making the rounds on X/Twitter, where it has drawn the attention of fans.

Check out the clip below:

One user poked fun at the disparity in skill between the two men:

“Speed is getting killed”

Another user expressed astonishment over Pacquiao’s feared punching power:

“His powers amazing”

This same sentiment was echoed by another user:

“One punch and gone ..”

Some praised the YouTuber for his efforts, with one comment remarking on the YouTuber’s quick hands:

“Speed has got some fast hands”

The YouTuber is no stranger to the sports world, having previously tested his quickness and agility against New York Jets cornerback Ahmad ‘Sauce’ Gardner in a one-on-one American Football drill. Moreover, he is known for his over-the-top fandom of soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo.

IShowSpeed previously sparred KSI

While he has never taken part in an official boxing match, he once sparred fellow YouTuber KSI, who has been a boxer for several years now, in a charity bout. KSI, who is one of the pioneers of influencer boxing, can be seen dominating ‘IShowSpeed’ inside the ring.

There doesn’t appear to be any signs of bad blood between the two, and it’s unclear if ‘IShowSpeed’ is preparing to enter the world of influencer boxing.

It was a fairly one-sided affair defined by a discrepancy in both skill and size, with KSI dominating virtually every second.
