Two guys are left vying for Barbie Forteza’s heart in Meant To Be: Ken Chan and Ivan Dorschner.

Barbie’s character Billie will finally reveal the lucky guy who is her ka-Meant To Be in the final episode of the GMA-7 series tonight, June 23.

This is after six months of keeping viewers hooked as four boys played by Ken, Ivan, Jak Roberto, and Addy Raj battle it out in winning Billie’s heart in the show.

In the episodes aired from June 21 to 22, Billie already turned down Jai (Addy) and Andoy (Jak).

During the #MTBMeantToThankYou finale press conference last June 14, Barbie revealed what became Billie’s considerations in choosing her Ka-Meant To Be.

In the six months that Meant To Be stayed on air, viewers have seen how Billie (Barbie Forteza, middle) struggled to look for her ka-Meant To Be among (L-R) Jai (Addy Raj), Andoy (Jak Roberto), Yuan (Ken Chan), and Ethan (Ivan Dorschner). The initials of the four boys’s names make up their group name: JEYA Boys.

Tonight, June 23, loyal viewers of the show will finally know whom will she choose, especially between the two boys are now left.

In a finale press conference held last June 14, program manager Hazel Abonita revealed that Billie’s Ka-Meant To Be will be determined by the mixed results of the ongoing poll and the management’s decision.

Barbie, who plays the leading lady in Meant To Be, said that she has no idea yet as to who will Billie end up with in the end.

She said, “Parang may pinaplano po silang paandar na as in the day itself po namin malalaman kung sinong Ka-Meant To Be ko!”

In a separate interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Barbie also cited reasons as to why it is hard for Billie to choose among the boys.

For Ethan (Ivan Dorschner), Barbie said that he is the perfect gentleman for Billie, despite having thoughts that she is only a rebound.

“Naging malaking issue sa akin [as Billie] na nagkaroon siya ng girlfriend, malaking bagay para kay Billie na binigyan niya ng time para hindi isipin ni Billie na rebound lang siya.

“Hindi agad-agad, which is good dahil in real life, ayaw naman nating maging ganun. Bukod doon, given naman na perfect gentleman, napakagwapo.”

On the other hand, Ivan said that aside from Billie changing his life and accepting him for who he is, Ethan has the biggest advantage among the boys. “Siyempre, first love ni Billie si Ethan.”

Meanwhile, Barbie is proud to say that Billie has changed Yuan‘s (Ken Chan) life, especially his temper.

“Ever since, aso’t pusa sila ni Billie. Pero nabago rin naman niya si Yuan in a way na kahit na maraming problema na dumating sa buhay niya–nagkaroon siya ng anak, nagkaroon ng problema sa bar, e, alam naman nating short-tempered si Yuan, nabago ni Billie yun.”

For Ken, he believes that Billie and his children complete Yuan’s life. “Kahit na nagkaroon ako ng mga anak, tinanggap ako ni Billie. Tapos sa tuwing kasama ko yung mga anak ko at siya, feeling ko kumpleto na ako.”

Barbie appreciates that Andoy (Jak Roberto) earned self-confidence because of his love for Billie.

“Kay Andoy, gusto ko na consistent siya. Sa kanilang apat, siya yung pinakaunang nagkagusto kay Billie. Siya yung pinakaunang nararamdaman niya para kay Billie. Kahit torpe siya, naglakas loob siya, parang kinalimutan niya kung ire-reject siya o sasagutin siya ng niligawan siya. Kahit papaano, for the first time, naging matapang siya for love.”

On the other hand, Jak is proud to say that Andoy represents all the torpes in the world!

“Kaya siya kailangang mapunta kay Andoy para lahat ng torpe, mabigyan ng pag-asa sa mga nililigawan nila! At si Billie po kasi ang first love ni Andoy, hindi pa siya nagkakaroon ng girlfriend ever since.”

JakBie supporters dubbed themselves as Team Pandesal. Unfortunately, in last night’s episode, Team Pandesal supporters were saddened after Billie revealed that she did not choose Andoy as her Ka-Meant To Be.

But for Barbie, it was Jai‘s (Addy Raj) life that Billie changed the most.

“Si Jai ang talagang nagbago para kay Billie. Kasi, siya naman talaga ang nagbago para kay Billie. Kasi, siya naman talaga ang chickboy, playboy, bad boy, na hindi talaga nagseseryoso pagdating sa love.

“Sa panahon ngayon, sobrang malaking bagay para sa love ang magbago ka. Lahat naman ng relasyon, talagang gusto naman nila magbago ka. Sincere and genuine ang pagbabago niya para kay Billie.”

That’s why Addy believes that Billie should choose Jai. He said, “Para sa kanya, it’s not that Billie needs Jai, it’s more that Jai needs Billie in his life. Kasi he used to be a babaero dati and hindi maganda personality niya pero dahil sa influence ni Billie, mas better person siya. He needs Billie to make him a better person that’s why.”

Howevet, in the episode aired last Wednesday, June 22, Billie already turned Jai down, which saddened their fans called Team Kape.

During a PEP Challenge last January, Barbie had the opportunity to choose who is her Ka-Meant To Be among the boys!

Barbie was given several situations as to who among Addy, Ken, Jak, and Ivan will she choose to be with – including the person she wants to go on a date with!

The four Meant To Be boys played a Word Sync challenge wherein they scored a tie. As a tiebreaker, Addy and Jak agreed to show their abs and the guy who has the most number of abs wins!

On the other hand, Jak was also game and quickly raised his shirt. He won the challenge as he bared his six-pack abs!

Mika dela Cruz’s character Mariko used to be involved with two of Billie’s boys: Jai and Ethan.

However, as the series nears its conclusion, she has found her love in the person of Avi, played by Vince Vandorpe.

Manilyn Reynes, who plays Billie’s mother Mamay, says that her character will support Billie’s choice as long as he will take care of her daughter.

Suzy, who is portrayed by Tina Paner, is also supportive of her daughter Mariko’s love life.

Meant To Be also served as the reunion teleserye for the Triplets Tina, Manilyn, and Sheryl. Triplets is a famous singing group wayback in the ’80s.

Keempee de Leon is reunited with his former love team partner Manilyn as they portrayed the parents of Billie.
