Since it’s been a long time since Andrea sported shorter hair, she decided to *surprise* her family and friends with her new look. In her Instagram Reel, one of the people she revealed her new haircut to was Kyle Echarri, and he didn’t shy away from gushing expressing how much he loved her new hair.

“I knew it! Oh my gosh,” Kyle exclaimed in their recorded FaceTime call.

He added: “Ang ganda mo… I love it. I like it so much… I think it’s so nice.” Help, our KyDrea hearts!

Xyriel Manabat, one of Andrea’s co-stars in Senior High, was also caught by surprise by the new look—she even thought that Blythe’s new hair was just a wig, LOL!

Meanwhile, Bea Borres, one of Andrea’s besties, was also shocked to see the new look since Andrea revealed that she didn’t tell anyone about getting a haircut. Bea also joked that Andrea will be missing her long hair in a few days. “Oh my God. You cut your hair? [In the] next couple of days, you’re gonna be like ‘I miss my long hair,'” she quipped.

However, out of all the reactions in Andrea’s video, it was her mom who was the most visibly shocked. Andrea made sure to present her mom with some flowers before revealing her hair to ~soften~ the blow. Life hack, we guess!

“Ba’t ka nagpagupit? Kaya pala hindi niyo ako sinama sa Timog,” Andrea’s mom shared.
