What’s the limit of humor? That’s the million-dollar question. Lately, comedians, especially stand-ups, have been getting all kinds of controversial opinions on social media. Making people laugh can be tough, but sometimes comedians push it too far when they start joking about celebrities and other public figures.

The actor Kevin Hart became one of those people when he made comments about basketball star Michael Jordan and even joked about his kids. The problem was that Jordan didn’t like it at all, and he still holds a grudge to this day.

Kevin Hart is one of the most famous comedians, but not everyone is always up for a laugh, whether on or off stage. At a stand-up show in Atlantic City, he shared a story about a disagreement with Michael Jordan that led to them stopping talking.

The basketball player asked Hart to host a charity event in Las Vegas, and when the actor noticed Jordan arriving late, he decided to improvise with a joke. However, the comedian’s attempt didn’t go as planned, and Jordan’s reaction was far from what Hart had hoped for. (via Daily Mail)

It was quick. It was all in fun. I don’t know where it came from. I just hit him with a quick one. Michael had an attitude, he hasn’t talked to me since.

His response? I don’t give a s**t. I could care less. I can f**king care less. I’m at a point in my life where it’s very hard to bother me. I’m 45 years old and it’s not about the progression of life. You get to the point where little things don’t matter. I’m not the same person I once was.

The topic was even brought up on Jimmy Kimmel Live! back in 2016. Hart mentioned making fun of Jordan’s fashion choices and his mustache. During the interview, he shared specific details about his remarks:

I was like “Man, what age do you get to where it’s okay to wear your pants that high, and nobody addresses it? I was like, I said “Y’all telling me I’m the only one to think Mike is past the legal limit for waist?”. But it was, like, fun jokes. I said he had the little square mustache at the time. I was like “What is that?”

Hart added that he didn’t really mind Jordan’s reaction to the jokes and still considers him his favorite basketball player.

Still according to Daily Mail, Hart’s show was very specific with its jokes, calling Michael Jordan a “horrible dresser” with “some of the worst jeans”. He also made comments about the star’s “huge back pockets” and shared a story about buying “d**k pills” after an injury.
Although he knew the new jokes might upset the NBA player, Hart didn’t hold back and even went further by commenting on Jordan’s sons, Jeffrey and Marcus.

If you ever told me I could get Michael Jordan DNA off the street, I would pay top dollar for it. Shoot it in my son’s a** immediately and say, Go do a lay-up. Jump! Let me see something!

“If you don’t think Michael Jordan thinks about it every time he sees Dell Curry on the sideline celebrating with Steph Curry. Michael got to look down at the couch at Marcus and Jeffrey – “Look at you two, ain’t s**t…just sitting here. All cuddled up with different colored Jordan combinations every day. You two pieces of s**t!”

Unlike his father, Marcus attended the comedian’s show and had no issue with the jokes. He even gave feedback on an Instagram Story, which was shared on a basketball fan page:

Although Hart and Jordan no longer interact, the actor remains confident and unapologetic. In the end, it seems like the sports star might just be lacking a bit of a sense of humor.
