After the “It’s Showtime” hosts aired their statement regarding the viral “beso” issue that took place on the show last May 31, a crying video of ‘EXpecially For You’ searcher Christine surfaced on TikTok as she lamented that the show “made her appear as a liar.”
On June 5, a video of Christine crying surfaced on TikTok, which now has 8 million views. The video was uploaded by a sibling of Christine’s ex-boyfriend. It showed Christine talking to a member of the “It’s Showtime” staff and was said to be taken right after the airing of the hosts’ statement.

In the video, Christine was sitting on the floor while crying as she was talking to a woman on the phone. “Mas lalo niyo po sila binigyan ng dahilan para maibash ako. Pinagmukha niyo akong sinungaling. Paano naman po ako,” Christine was heard as saying to the woman on the phone.
The staff replied that Christine uploaded three videos with three contradicting statements, to which she responded in tears, “Iniexplain ko nga po lahat. Nakatatlong video po ako. Hindi po iba-iba. Paulit-ulit po ako. Inie-exaggrate ko lang po kasi po ‘yung mga tao nirereplyan ko po sila kasi hindi po nila magets ‘yung point ko.”
The rest of the video, however, could not be fully viewed, but the woman on the phone could be heard saying in the background that “it wasn’t their intention to paint Christine a liar.” As they ended the phone conversation, the woman said that they will call Christine back.

As of this writing, “It’s Showtime” has yet to issue a new statement regarding Christine’s new video.
On June 4, headed by Vice Ganda, the “It’s Showtime” hosts addressed the viral ‘beso’ issue, saying they would not apologize for calling out Axel, who seemingly attempted to kiss Christine at the time.
“Binabawi ko yung twineet ko na, I will say an apology because I do not need to apologize for what I did,” the comedian said. “Ito ang aking paniniwala, at paniniwala din namin na hindi kinakailangang mag-apologize because what we did was right.”
Vice Ganda explained that Christine admitted that she felt “uncomfortable” with Axel’s gesture, which was the opposite of what she said in a TikTok video she posted after the episode.
“Talagang na-off siya at may naramdaman siyang hindi siya kumportable sa ginawa nung searchee,” shared Vice Ganda.
