It turns out that Rhen Escaño dreams of working with Carlo Aquino and Paulo Avelino as her on-screen partners, huh!
She has already worked with Carlo in the Viva One series Kung Hindi Lang Tayo Sumuko, but she would still choose him as her partner.
According to Rhen, “When I started (in showbiz), I was such a big fan of Carlo Aquino. I’ve worked with Caloy on my past project for Viva One in Kung Hindi Lang Tayo Sumuko.
“And when we became friends, I thought, ‘Oh, okay, it’s different now.’ No, just kidding,” she joked.
“He’s still Carlo Aquino, he’s really very talented. He’s always on my list, no matter what happens,” she added.
She also knows Paulo because of a dinner with friends.
She admires Paulo’s acting skills and would also like to work with him.
“He’s really so good, as in I don’t even have the Prime Video app on my phone, but I downloaded it just for Linlang.
“There’s nothing bad about him at all, I really idolize him. Ever since, I’ve always said that he’s the one I want to work with.
“I’d even be embarrassed in front of him because I know how great he is; he’d totally outshine me, but I know I’d learn so much from him.
“Working with artists like him is different. For someone like me, the impact is just different, I really get something from it.”
She further shared that Paulo doesn’t make you feel like a newcomer.
“He’s so down-to-earth, it feels like you’ve known each other for a long time.
“He’s very generous, so kind, and I’ve heard from friends who’ve worked with him that he’s chill, nice, and very professional. You can really see it,” she concluded.
Someone jokingly said that Rhen might be trying to “steal” Paulo from Kim Chiu.
But fans of ChiuPau (Kim and Paulo’s tandem) need not worry because Rhen said she doesn’t easily fall for her co-workers who just show kindness to her.
According to Rhen, she’s focusing on her career first and won’t be in a relationship until she has her own billboard on EDSA.
Rhen is right to focus on her career, especially since it’s going so well right now.
Blessings and projects are coming her way one after the other.
One of these projects includes her role in the upcoming TV5 teleserye starring Sarah Lahbati.
She’s also been extended in the hit DonBelle teleserye Can’t Buy Me Love, where viewers will get to know her character, Liv, even more.
She’s also the first-ever endorser for CC6 Online Casino, and according to her manager, Aster Amoyo, they’re closing another endorsement deal soon.
