Andrea Brillantes is open to dating Gilas Pilipinas center Kai Sotto
ANDREA BRILLANTES – The actress enthusiastically shared that she’s open to dating basketball star Kai Sotto.
In a vlog posted on YouTube four (4) days ago, Andrea and her best friends played the popular game “Date or Pass.” One of the guys brought up was the Gilas Pilipinas center, and Andrea was the only one who expressed interest in dating the basketball star. She mentioned that she had already met the 7 ft 3 inches tall player and described him as a “nice guy.”
“Wala lang, para masabi lang na I dated a seven-footer before. May standards ako na mahilig ako sa tall guys,” she stated. Andrea had previously dated former UP Fighting Maroons star Ricco Rivero.
Aside from Kai Sotto, they also discussed Kobe Paras during the game, but Andrea Brillantes decided to pass on him because, in her view, he comes across as aloof. “Kaya ako nag-pass kay Kobe kasi nag-usap na kami then after namin magkita agad sa party parang nilagpasan niya lang ako,” she explained. “Parang OK, guwapo ka pero suplado.”
Meanwhile, Kai Sotto is a Filipino professional basketball player renowned for his towering height of 7 ft 3 in (2.21 m). He plays as a center for the Hiroshima Dragonflies in Japan’s B.League. He began his basketball journey in high school at Ateneo de Manila, earning championships and MVP awards. After a stint with the NBA G League Ignite, he played for the Adelaide 36ers in Australia’s NBL.
Although he wasn’t selected in the 2022 NBA draft, he has continued his career, currently serving as the center for the Gilas Pilipinas, the Philippines men’s national basketball team.
