Exes James Reid, Nadine Lustre 'still very close,' collaborate with Liza Soberano

Although Nadine Lustre has now moved on with a new relationship, her former boyfriend and onscreen partner James Reid admitted that the two of them are still very close.

As reported on Push, the singer, who spoke to the media recently, addressed the previous photo of him and Nadine at the MEGA Ball 2022 last month, which had since gone viral.

“Of course [I’m aware of it]. I see them on social media. They were just happy to see us back together,” he said, referring to the JaDine fans.

James added, “We are still very close. We are still working very closely together as well. She has very exciting music projects coming up as well.”

It is noted that both of them are part of James’ Careless Music.

The singer stated that the two of them are also working on collaborations through their said label, which will also feature the new addition, Liza Soberano.

“A lot of different collaborations like, for example, you’ll hear a song with me, Nadine and Liza in one track. So, it’s very unique and one-of-a-kind collaborations in the mix tape,” he said.

The couple ended their romance back in 2020 after nearly four years together. Nadine is currently dating Filipino-French businessman Christophe Bariou, while James has admitted that he is still single.

Actor-singer James Reid teased an upcoming mixtape featuring Liza Soberano and ex-girlfriend Nadine Lustre.

James told Push in an interview that his EP (extended play) is scheduled to be released in September.

“It’s been a while since I released a collection of songs. And I think it’s a very different sound from what everyone is used to,” he said.

“I’ve been able to work with a lot of big, well-known producers in LA to help me make these tracks so I’m very excited,” he added.

He also confirmed a song in collaboration with Nadine and Liza.

“A lot of different collaborations like, for example, you’ll hear a song with me, Nadine and Liza in one track. So it’s very unique and one-of-a-kind collaboration in the mixtape,” he said.

James also said that all is well between him and Nadine after their breakup.

“We’re still very close. And, we’re still working very closely together as well,” he said.
