Kyline Alcantara stressed that she doesn’t owe the public an explanation of the real score between her and Kobe Paras following a viral video of them together.

The actress talked about her rumored relationship in an interview with 24 Oras.

“I feel like it’s my right to not answer or to answer questions, or to deny nor confirm anything. I don’t need to explain myself din naman po to other people. Whatever they see, that’s what they’re gonna get,” she said.

“And as long as alam ng pamilya ko at ‘yung mga close kong mga kaibigan or my loved ones what’s really happening behind cameras, I feel like I don’t owe the public any explanation naman po,” she added.

In the viral video, the two were seen at a private event, with Kobe singing Hinahanap-hanap Kita sweetly to Kyline who was sitting on his lap. At one point of the clip, Kobe kissed Kyline on her bare shoulder, after she tucked Kobe’s hair.

The Sparkle artist said that she doesn’t know the “exact words to describe” her relationship with Kobe. “It’s a different feeling po,” she said. “Lumalabas na lang siya through actions or auras, I guess.”

The two were last spotted together during the GMA Gala on July 20. At the time, Kobe said that he and Kyline were “great friends.”

“Bakit girlfriend agad? Nagtanong na ba ako?” the basketball player told GMA News.

“We are just great friends right now, really close friends,” he stressed. He also confirmed that Kyline was present at the opening of his tattoo studio, Nown Studio.

The two fueled dating rumors in May after eagle-eyed social media users noticed their Instagram posts were taken in an identical location.

The basketball player recently uploaded an Instagram Story of a restaurant, showing its chefs and two glasses of wine. Kyline, meanwhile, posted photos of random shots, selfies, and behind-the-scenes photos of her projects. It also featured a snap of a meal on what appears to be the same table seen in Kobe’s story as well as a dimmed image of the kitchen captured from the same angle in his post.

Days after, Kobe left a heart eyes emoji on Kyline’s Instagram post, which he also reposted on his Instagram story.

In June, they were spotted holding hands while walking around Bonifacio Global City.

Despite this, the two remained tight-lipped on their real score. The same month, Kyline shared that she’s “not yet ready” to fall in love again.
