Larsa Pippen has given an explanation as to why her and Marcus Jordan split for good.
The reality star and former best friend of Kim Kardashian sat down with Amy Robach and TJ Holmes for their podcast, Amy & TJ on iheartRadio.
She explained that she realized Marcus wasn’t her ‘guy’ after she spent time away from him, giving her clarity on their relationship.
Larsa noted that she believes Marcus and herself are on ‘different journey’s and that it it not age related, despite the fact that she is 49 and he is 33.
Larsa said she was filming the reality show House of Villains on E! when she reflected on their on/off relationship.
‘You know, I feel like I just finished. I just wrapped up shooting the show, and I spent time away from him and everyone else. I was there for like two weeks, and it just kind of gave me clarity when I was alone,’ she said on the podcast.
‘And I think when you’re alone, you kind of really miss the person or you realize maybe you aren’t my guy, and that made me realize, I don’t think he’s my guy.’
She continued: ‘I just think we are on a different journey and I feel like I have to be true to who I am, what I’m doing, and what he’s doing.’
‘I want him to be happy, he’s a great guy, but I just don’t feel like it’s for me.’
Larsa was asked if she thinks age was a factor in their split: ‘I don’t think it’s the age. It’s just where we are right now.
‘It’s hard sometimes to break up because you are so used to living with the person, we had our podcast together, we worked together, I had him on Housewives.’
The mom of four also added that is single.
Larsa and Marcus split for the first time just days before Valentine’s Day – even unfollowing each other – reuniting one week later after a reconciliation and re-following one another.
They split for the second time and for good in mid-March.
Larsa and Marcus started dating September 2022.
In early July, Marcus’ father – Michael Jordan – was asked if he was in favor of the relationship outside Matignon in Paris and he said ‘No!’ with a laugh.
He was there with his wife Yvette Prieto, 44.
Michael, 60, has been in a feud with Larsa’s ex husband Scottie Pippen, who was married to Larsa from 1997 until 2021.
Larsa has four children with ex-Scottie.
It is unclear if Larsa and Marcus are continuing their joint podcast called Separation Anxiety.
