In Ogie’s vlog, Mama Loi wondered about the Data Privacy Act and asked Ogie about it as well.
“Teka lang, nay, eh diba meron yung Data Privacy Act na bawal kang mag-post nung mga conversations na private? Pano kaya yun?” Mama Loi said during their discussion.
Ogie then recalled some of the comments he read online, with some netizens trying to convince Anthony and Maris to file a case.
“Meron ibang netizens, lalo na yun mga fans, inuudyukan sila Anthony Jennings at Maris Racal na mag-demanda, na i-demanda nila si Jam Villanueva, yung ex ni Anthony dahil lumabag nga sa Data Privacy Act kung saan inilabas niya yung private convo na dapat ay hindi. Pero syempre, issue pa rin yan,” Ogie began.
According to Ogie, should Maris and Anthony file a case, the people would constantly be reminded about the controversial issue.
“Kung magde-demanda sila, makikita pa rin sila sa video, sa camera na nag-demanda sila. Tuwing hearing, maaalala at maaalala ng mga tao na merong kaganapan na ganito.
So feeling ko, hindi nila ide-demanda yan kasi unang-una, kapag may kasalanan ka ba, magmamalaki ka pa ba? Pag alam mo naman nang may ginawa kang mali, magmamalaki ka pa ba? Syempre hindi na,” Ogie said in his viral vlog.
